The Dorothy Lee Coverson Foundation (DLCF) is a nonprofit organization that improves the health and well-being of African-Americans and Latinos by modifying behaviors.
Community Health Outreach
DLCF collaborates with other community-based service organizations and agencies to provide holistic services to African-American youth and their families.
Male-to-Male Mentorship
This project targets males in need of mental health or medical health services (particularly a subset of that population that typically avoids healthcare treatment).
Modified Behavioral Approach
This curriculum changes the perceptions of males and their families about seeking health services with the goal of removing the stigma and empowering their recovery.
